In consideration of the particularity of terrestrial reservoir and the shortcomings of available stochastic reservoir modeling software, a new integrated reservoir modeling method and its programme MODRES are put forward and its main characteristics are presented by combining a two-step reservoir modeling, integrating the randomness with determinacy, an object-based strategy with a pixel-based one, mathematical analysis with geologic rules as well as the thought oriented towards the practical needs. The property and application results of MODRES modeling are presented specifically through a case study of reservoir modeling in Wenmi Oilfield in Turpan-Hami Basin. It shows that when accurate reservoir structural features are obtained with more data, the structural model is established by using a deterministic method, a lithofacies controlled modeling with the consideration of boundary is better than an one-step model.
