摘要
Supersonic steam jet in subcooled water in the range of 20~60°C was investigated experimentally and velocity distribution for the tail of supersonic steam jet was obtained. When the inlet steam pressure was 0.3 or 0.5Mpa, velocity was almost changeless with water temperature increasing. For the same condition, velocity decreased slowly and trended to be gently in the radial direction with the increase of the axial distance. In the same axial location, velocity decreased corresponding and the velocity profile was similar with the inlet steam pressure reducing. It was seen that the peak of the velocity appeared at the axial location and velocity distribution showed the comparability. Velocity distributions of each jet showed that the velocity profile induced by steam jet condensation was very similar to that of the circular turbulent jet flow.
