摘要
The paper presents some results of systematic measurements of the positioning accuracy using stationary navigational sites with known coordinates which are equipped with single- and dual-frequency GPS and GLONASS navigational receivers. A special attention is focused on the environmental parameters influenced by rains (including summer thunderstorms), snowfalls, fogs and cloudiness. Fluctuations of the Zenith Tropospheric Delay (ZTD) and apparent spatial coordinates of receiving sites spaced by 5.8 km have been investigated experimentally. The factors limiting the maximum obtainable positioning accuracy are analyzed. The results of the study are important for the problems of online prognosis of meteorological phenomena and investigation of their physical properties. © 2016 by Begell House, Inc.
