Women in engineering activity at the 2017 IEEE international symposium on electromagnetic compatibility, signal and power integrity

This year at the 2017 EMC+SIPI International Symposium in Washington, DC, we continued the tradition of holding the Women in Engineering (WIE) IEEE EMC Society event. This tradition was started by the President of the EMC Society, Dr. Frank Sabath, at the 2015 IEEE International Symposium on EMC in Dresden, Germany. This year the WIE event took the form of a panel discussion in the Symposium's exhibit hall. In addition to the panel discussion, there was also the WIE promotional exhibit booth in the exhibit hall area. Mrs. Melissa Trapp, who is a member of the Northern Virginia WIE Section, was promoting the WIE at the booth. Many people stopped by to inquire and learn about what the WIE Society has to offer. By the end of the Symposium, attendees took all promotional items that were provided in the booth! © 2017 IEEE.
