摘要
The overall cost, complexity, and efficiency of a chopper system can compare favorably with conventional diode or thyristor rectification technology. Due to the modular nature of choppers, they allow many system configurations from standard building blocks. Chopper system costs are currently competitive with that of the thyristor rectifier systems. As the market for high-current chopper systems continues to mature, their costs are likely to continue decreasing.
