Simulation of radio signal dispersion in the inhomogeneous Earth ionosphere

摘要
A method is proposed for complex simulation of the spatial-temporal structure of a radio signal propagating in inhomogeneous ionospheric plasma. The spatial structure of plasma is specified using a global parametric model, whose characteristics are reconstructed from vertical sounding ionograms. Spectral, temporal, and spatial field distributions are determined in both regular single-path propagation regions and multipath propagation and focusing regions.
