摘要
According to the development trend of distribution automation system, a new scheme of multimedia network RTU (MNRTU) for non-attended substations is discussed. The scheme combines the advances in DSP, multimedia, security defense and communication with traditional substation supervision system. Comparing with the current RTU, this scheme, MNRTU, implements not only the basic RTU functions, but also some new special functions such as multimedia remote real-time supervision, substation auto-warning function, and IP telephone, etc. while the bandwidth resource of communication line is fully used. To solve the problem that most SCADA system can hardly acquire and resolve the IP messages from MNRTU directly, a simple but useful technical scheme is presented in connection with an actual project, which well realizes the communication interface between the present SCADA system and MNRTU.
