摘要
The paper introduces the application of Wu Method (combined with Prony analysis) in power system electric-magnetic transient identification. The transient variables of power system usually are a linear combination of magnitude-decaying sinusoidal functions and may be well described by Prony spectrum. Solving the transient variables in differential equations is transformed into solving the coefficients in Prony spectrum by algebraic equations. The MAPLE software package is efficient in analytically solving the non-linear algebraic equations, by using which the initiate value and decaying time constant during each phase of power system electric-magnetic transient process are solved. Thus, Prony analysis and Wu Method combined together becomes a novel analytical approach to solve the electric-magnetic transient problems which can only be solved by numerical simulation or approximate multi-phase solution before.
