Time evolution of streaks in the ekman boundary layer

摘要
We investigate the time evolution of the streaks in the Ekman boundary layer (EBL). It is shown that the energy conversion from the mean flow to the streaks is the largest among those to the other perturbations and the time evolution of the streaks is similar to that of the optimal perturbations which are suggested by Foster (1997).
