Longitudinal motion analysis and simulation for lighter-than-air (LTA) airship

摘要
A brief introduction of the LTA (Lighter-than-air) airship developed in China was made. And the linearized model for the airship longitudinal motion was presented. The stability and controllability of the longitudinal perturbation motion was analyzed based on the linearized equation. And a conclusion was made that the longitudinal perturbation motion of the airship is unstable and can be completely controlled. Three characteristic modes of the longitudinal perturbation motion were summarized.
