摘要
A study for the infrared characteristic at 3 μm-5 μm wave band of the individual exhaust nozzle and mixing exhaust nozzle for a turbofan engine was conducted and the computational results were compared with the results of the model nozzle experiment. The results reveal that the spatial and spectral distribution of the infrared radiation of the two exhaust nozzles are similar, but radiation intensity and spectral radiant intensity of the two exhaust nozzles have significant difference. The mixing exhaust nozzle has significant potential to meet the challenges of reducing exhaust system infrared radiation.
