摘要
This work is focused on private family-owned forest properties in metropolitan France, where owners, whether individuals or couples, work and consume the fuelwood, without this being their main activity. We study the parameters that affect access to the various forest management resources available for private, familyowned forests. Data structure is characterized by the statistical proximities between size of the forest property, owners’ socio-economic features, sales of wood and forest management choices. Two clusters of forest owners are differentiated on the basis of the management tools used. The regional distribution of the two clusters is studied. These results make it possible to specify regionalized management solutions to help owners of private family-owned forests to manage their forests, help increase the harvest of wood and more generally offer targeted ecosystem services. © AgroParisTech, 2017.
