摘要：
The work of IEAust with respect to the current crisis with professional indemnity insurance is discussed. Recent developments at the ministerial level have raised the prospect of a harmonized set of statutes and reasonable constraints on exposure to actions for negligence. The Institution has enlisted the services of two external consultants to provide first hand advice and guidance for those who are facing difficulty in renewing their professional indemnity insurance.
