The Voith Paper Jagenberg company (Germany) has been supplying roll cutting machines for more that 100 years. The widest rolls that can be cut using the Voith machine are 4600 m wide and the narrowest of these rolls are 70 mm wide, with all roll widths in between. The company offers four types of roll cutting machines: the versatile VariFlex; the heavy-duty VariPlus for refined and coated papers; VariTop for the largest and heaviest paper rolls; and VariSoft for tissue paper. The second-generation VariTop and VariPlus machines run at a speed of up to 180 km/h and at a high level of automation.
