A method for estimating the 3-parameter of the Weibull distribution

摘要：
The main objective of this article is to introduce a new method for estimating the 3-parameters of the Weibull distribution. In this paper we use the reliability function to obtain a relation which depends only on γ that simplifies the estimation method. Estimators based on trimmed and Winsorizted means are obtained with a numerical example.
