摘要
B4 particles-reinforced MoSi2-based composites were prepared by rapid heat compression molding. The influence of the B4C particle content on the microstructure, mechanical properties and tribological behavior of MoSi2-based composites was investigated. The results show that with the increase of B4C particle content, the hardness of the composite is increased, while the friction coefficient and the wear rate are decreased. It is supposed that B4C particles can retard the oxidation of MoSi2N, preventing the formation of glass phase between crystals and improving the interface combination of crystals. The tribochemical product is also beneficial for the modification of the tribological properties of B4C particles-reinforced MoSi2-based composites.
