Analysis of temporal-spatial distribution and correlation of air pollution in important environmental protection cities in Hubei Province

Based on the daily data of air pollution in 2014, this paper has researched the temporal-spatial distribution and correlation of air pollution in Wuhan, Yichang and Jingzhou. The conclusions are as follows: Wuhan has the best air quality among three key environmental protection cities in Hubei Province in 2014. Yichang has the medium air quality. Jingzhou has the worst air quality. Three cities have the worst air quality in winter and the best air quality in summer. Air pollution is most serious in three cities in January. Air quality is the best in three cities in June, July or August. Daily average concentration of air pollutants are significantly correlated in Wuhan, Yichang and Jingzhou. © 2016, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.
