摘要
H2 is important chemical and energy carrier. The separation and purification processes play a crucial role on the economics of H2. Organic polymer membranes have the advantages of low cost, strong processability, diverse structures, and stable performance, and have become the most widely used membrane materials in the field of H2 separation. In this paper, the separation mechanism is introduced, followed by discussions of membrane materials, preparation methods and performance. Afterwards, the applications of organic membranes in H2 separation are reviewed, and future works are prospected. © 2024 Materials China. All rights reserved.
