A development of data broadcasting system

Digital broadcasting is a multi-channel/multimedia service that provides high-resolution video, high quality audio, and data, which is impossible in analog broadcasting. Data broadcasting provides viewers with multimedia data such as text information, still image, graphic, document and even software over broadcasting media. This service satisfies needs of the convergent era between broadcasting and telecommunications, and makes it possible for interaction between viewers and personalized broadcasting information and it may change the viewing pattern from a passive to an active one. This paper provides an example of implementing a data broadcasting system, describing authoring tools, data transmission system, and application contents.
