Analysis and calculation of harmonic currents in the novel converter transformer

摘要
In this paper a novel converter transformer is introduced. By making full use of the windings connection characteristics, a new type scheme of reactive power compensation and filtering is presented. Then, the principle of shielding harmonic current in the transformer is briefly analyzed. According to the characteristic of the harmonic current distribution in HVDC transmission system, the harmonic currents in the windings and filter branches of novel converter transformer are analyzed and calculated. Through comparing with the simulation result, the theoretical analysis of the harmonic current is proved correctness. It also has offered scientific data to design of windings and the filter parameter.
