The previous investigations of internal tide in the Ocean are extended to arctic latitudes, aiming at determining spatial variability of internal tide in Barents Sea and mapping the internal tide wave (ITW) amplitudes in this region. ITW generation and distribution on ocean bottom slopes was investigated on the basis of numerical two-dimensional simulation with introducing characteristic hydrological parameters. Discovered and explained are large ITW amplitudes along northern coast of Kola Peninsula due to the high grade of the horizon D slope and strong barotropic tide in northern parts of Barents Sea near steep undersea slopes, due to peculiar conditions of high latitudes etc.
