摘要
Several accelerated curing methods such as warm water, boiling water and autogenous curing have been proposed and tested to minimize the time necessary for early determination of the compressive strength of concrete. However, each of these accelerated curing testing methods has its disadvantages. In the study, the new curing cycle which is a modified version of warm water curing method was applied to concretes in determining the range of the compressive strength and the accuracy of the estimated values. The new method, together with the standard warm water method was applied to 49 concrete batches having different mix proportions. In conclusion, the modified warm water method in determination of the 28-day standard compressive strength of the concrete increased the estimation accuracy of the 28-day compressive strength compared to the standard warm water method. The proposed method can be applied within normal working hours without causing health hazards.
