摘要
Advancements in photovoltaic systems and associated market trends suggest that vertical installations integrated with building façades will be increasingly competitive for meeting energy demands, while financial incentives and policies at levels influence further the pace of growth and adoption. The study examines 256 tall mixed-use buildings across 49 cities in the United States for their potential to generate solar energy from second generation, thin-film building-integrated photovoltaics in window glazing, while accounting for the effect on building energy performance, and considering state and local policies in determining performance. © 2022, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
