摘要
In medical endoscope shape detection, the positioning precision of the sensor has a key effect on the diagnosis of lesions and surgical plan. Optimization of the curvature serialization method is carried out for the theoretical curve of the parabola, sine, arc-tangent shape and the practical curve segment based on a long FBG curvature shape sensor. Meanwhile, the cubic spline curvature continuous method is presented. Experimental results show that the average fitting precision of coordinate points in the X and Y axis can be improved by 4.8% and 2.2% respectively under the optimized algorithm, when the strain of FBG sensor on the practical curve segment is moved to the limit. The reconstruction accuracy of the two-dimensional curve is improved. The response time of the curve reconstruction is 19ms, which can meet the real-time requirements. © 2016, Science Press.
