摘要
Development of economy is observed in Russian Federation. In connection with this, demand for coal increases. Therefore, production of coal in Russian Federation in 2005 will be 260 million tons. Maximal possible production of coke will be 269 million tons. Russian Federation takes the third place in world in area of explored reserves of coal. Predicted reserves of coal in Russian Federation are 3.9 billion tons, the largest ones in the world. New reserves of coal will be explored in Eastern Siberia, Far East, and other regions of Russian Federation. Production of the coking and power-generating coals will be increased.
