Random fatigue design for drive shaft based on ride simulation test

摘要
Based on virtual prototype technology, dynamic model of drive and ride systems were established and load spectrum of different work section was obtained through riding simulation test. The distribution regularity of random load was analyzed, two dimension joint probability density function under multiple working conditions was acquired using weight coefficient method and then the full-life period's fatigue design spectrum of drive shaft could be achieved. According to the material's P-S-N curve and two dimension probability Miner rule, fatigue lives of the parts were calculated. Thus the section size d/D of drive shaft and the round angle of spline can be designed based on all these means. As a result the drive shaft which was designed to satisfy the use life was 35 percent lighter than the former shaft.
