摘要
The power consumption has increased enormously due to the intervention of high end technology and it is necessary to meet this power demand. The power pushed into any electrical system should be highly reliable, secured with sufficient quantity and quality. One such solution is to bring reliable and flexible power by introducing Hybrid energy systems into the network. The main motivation of hybrid energy systems is to improve the delivery of power at the utilities and customer end. In this paper, a complete literature review is made on the integration of solar photovoltaic, wind and diesel generator with energy storage systems like hydrogen based fuel cells and batteries. This hybrid system reduces the operating time of diesel generator, save the fuel consumption and hence accomplishes the peak demand with diesel generator. © 2018 Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology.
