摘要
This article presents possible future developments of the recycling potential of aluminium in Europe and Germany. Collection, processing and metallurgy will supply the recycling system with different contributions. Beside technology further parameters have an impact on scrap availability, which are growth rates of application, life time of products, and alloys in use. The calculations provide the absolute amounts of scrap and recycled aluminium and the resulting changes in the recycled portion of future alloys and products. To include long-term developments, the investigation period was chosen until 2040.
