摘要
We demonstrate a compact self-starting wavelength-locked nanosecond Yb:YAG/V:YAG solid-state laser with switchable cylindrical vector beam output experimentally. With the help of the pancharatnam-berry phase optical element S-waveplate and the birefringent filter, the Yb:YAG/V:YAG solid-state laser can deliver wavelength-locked radially and azimuthally polarized beam centered at 1030.3 nm with spectral linewidth 0.13 nm. Under the maximum pump power, the stable pulse with minimum pulse width 46 ns at the repetition rate of 3.8 kHz can be delivered from the Q-switched laser. In addition, the switchable radially and azimuthally polarized beams can be realized with mode purity of 94.3 % and 94.9 %, respectively. The experimental results can provide a reliable compact nanosecond laser source with inhomogeneous polarization output for the optoelectronic applications.
