摘要
Taking Dongguan Dichong Substation as an example, the characteristics of dam-break flood evolution was discussed in the case of a once-in-100-year flood. The whole dam-break process is divided into three phases for simulation based on the features of the river around Guayingzhouwei, where the substation is located. Firstly, a two-dimensional dam-break model is used to calculate the amount of flood, the flow of flood, the dam-break wave height, and some other characteristics. Then the process of flood spread and the inundation of Guayingzhouwei are discussed. Finally, weir flow formula is adopted to calculate the heightened water level and the flow process line, so as to explore the pattern of changes in terms of water level, velocity and flow in the whole process of the dam outburst from beginning to end.
