Process of producing the tubes and pipes is considered. Operation of TPA 50-200 unit of the plant is discussed. Processing of continuously cast billets is described. Process of rolling the billets from steels of St20, ShKh15, 09G2S, and other grades has been investigated. Results of the investigations have made it possible to determine optimal conditions of deformation of the billets. Efficient roll pass designs have been developed. Rational conditions of the rolling processes have been determined. Recommendations of further improvement in the rolling processes have been given.
