摘要
A study is performed on cutting soft or hard materials and machining properties of metals. The challenge of turning magnesium, high strength steels or titanium demands a thorough understanding of the process involved and close co-operation with cutting tool suppliers. The high-alloy metals as used in aeroengines present work-hardening challenges and require slow cutting speeds.
