US lifts sanctions on EU imports

The European Council agreed to modify the European Union's (EU) import regime for bananas. US imposed custom duties of 100% on the equivalent amount of trade from EU member states. European folding cartons, boxes and cases of noncorrugated paper or board and rolls and sheets of uncoated felt paper and paper were among the products hit by the inflated custom duties.
