Italian market prices have risen for several paper and board grades, while those that did not see increases managed to maintain steady price levels. Several Italian newsprint suppliers limit price contracts with customers to six months. The supercalendered offset paper showed a price rise of 6%. Prices for the rotogravure grade did not move. Reports of a healthy third quarter in the uncoated woodfree sector are there. For coated woodfree suppliers prices remained unchanged from May to September. For virgin fiber containerboard sector price levels remain unchanged during July to September. Prices for testliner and waste-based fluting remained unchanged over the third quarter.
