摘要
A four noded rectangular, isoparametric, C° finite element, with seven degrees-of-freedom at each node is used for dynamic (transient) analysis of laminated composite plates. The displacement model is so chosen that it can explain adequately the parabolic distribution of transverse shear stresses and the non-linearity of in-plane displacements across the thickness. The effect of lamination scheme, orthotropy, boundary conditions, and type of loading on dynamic response of composite laminate are investigated. The results of present formulation are compared with existing analytical and numerical solutions and found in good agreement.
