Selection of injection current of the external cavity laser diode for all-optical wavelength conversion

摘要：
The influence of external optical injection on the threshold current of external cavity laser diode with fiber Bragg grating is investigated experimentally. In order to obtain high extinction ratio and high conversion rate simultaneously, the injection current range is determined. The experimental results are analyzed by carrier depletion mechanism.
