摘要
This paper conducted a comprehensive investigation into the factors influencing coal pillar dams in underground reservoirs of slowly inclined coal seams. The following tasks were accomplished: establishing a mechanical model for coal pillar dams, determining the strength division of coal pillar dams under complex stress environments, constructing an ideal elastic-plastic strain softening model for coal bodies, distinguishing the stages of the damage process of coal bodies, deriving a theoretical formula for determining the appropriate width of coal pillar dams, conducting an engineering application in LingXin coal mine to address the issue of determining the optimal size of coal pillar dams, and analyzing the impact of various factors on the theoretical width of coal pillar dams. The results revealed that the geological conditions, such as the thickness and burial depth of the coal seam where the underground reservoir is located, exerted a significant influence on the appropriate width of coal pillar dams. In comparison, factors related to water storage (e. g., water storage time, water storage height, and water source) during the operation of the coal mine's underground reservoir had a lesser impact. © 2024 China University of Mining and Technology.
