摘要
The microstructure of the nacre and its toughening mechanism were introduced firstly, and then the preparation methods of metal-based nacre-inspired materials were reviewed. Finally, the development trends of metal-based nacre-inspired materials were proposed. The results show that more effective methods for preparing metal-based nacre-inspired composites can be explored by learning from additive manufacturing and the preparation technology of nacre-inspired polymer materials, to meet the refinement requirements of nacre-inspired architecture. © 2020, Central South University Press.
