摘要
The field of urban landscape design includes cases such as the preservation of existing streetscapes and the creation of new landscapes. However, most of the subjects were hardware-centric, and the urban landscape including human activities was not treated. The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of human activities on impression evaluation for urban landscapes through experiments. The results revealed that social activities created by interactions with people have a greater influence on liveliness and attractiveness than do single activities; thus, it is important to create spaces where people can interact with each other. © 2021 Architectural Institute of Japan.
