Around the world, countries face many of the same transportation concerns. Best practices and lessons learned in other nations can help address U.S. challenges. The Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of International Programs (HPIP) works to access, promote, and disseminate global best practices and new technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of the U.S. transportation system.
