<正>Bronchopleural fistula （BPF） is defined as a pathological connection between the trachea or bronchus and the pleural cavity. It may occur as a serious complication after lung surgery.1 It has a low incidence of 1%–3%（2,3） but carries a high mortality rate of 19.4%.4 Mycobacterium abscess is an important species of non-tuberculous Mycobacteria （NTM）.
