摘要
The lack of adjectives in Alice Ruiz's poetry allows her language to reach a significant audience, encompassing children, teenagers, and adults. Based on this premise, our objective is to discuss the poetics of Alice Ruiz from the perspective of body and sexuality, as well as its reception in a 2nd year high school class in a public school. To achieve this, we focused on an experience from our doctoral research, using a quantitative-qualitative and interventionist methodology based on Moreira and Caleffe (2006) and Bogdan and Biklen (1994). Regarding the analytical reading of the poet's texts, the contributions of Cohen (1974), Foucault (2014), and Freud (2015) were significant. The studies on metacognition by Girotto and Souza (2010) provided support for the reading experience in the classroom. We obtained promising results that, in addition to highlighting the aesthetic experience, demonstrated an expansion of the students' horizons concerning the complexities of gender prejudice and the political instruments that oppress and regulate women's social spaces.
