摘要
This research emphasizes the growing importance of addressing the environmental impact of the data industry, often overlooked in discussions about achieving net-zero targets. While industries like construction, aviation, and energy are commonly associated with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the digital sector is increasingly recognized as a significant contributor. The paper introduces the concept of "digital decarbonization" to tackle the carbon footprint associated with digital knowledge practices, highlighting that these practices are not inherently carbon neutral. Ultimately, this integrative review sets the stage for future research on digital decarbonization in supply chains, aiming to address this critical issue in the quest for a sustainable, net-zero future.
