摘要
. This article evaluates the structure of the collective efficacy regulation in two urban environments of the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico. Recent research highlights the necessity of considering the influence of space and time on trust, social cohesion, and informal social control, showing a more complex composition than some previous analyses assume. With methodologies used in other experiences, this paper was carried out in the historic center of Mexico City and Nezahualc & oacute;yotl, state of Mexico, using data from a survey conducted between November 2021 and January 2022. Results show that each urban environment has different collective efficacy regulations, and in both cases, a third underlying dimension is identified, which we call identification with the colony.
