摘要
Developers of institutional digital repositories are committed to creating repositories that adhere to international standards and adopt metadata to ensure interoperability and open access to content. As the volume of digital objects stored in repositories increases, the implementation of customized filtering mechanisms becomes necessary to address the issue of information overload. Moreover, it is imperative that repositories remain accessible to all individuals, thus requiring the development of repository objects and interfaces that adhere to accessibility standards. This paper presents the aspects of customization and accessibility that must be considered when implementing a repository to ensure user usability, accessibility, and satisfaction. The development of a prototype learning object repository is introduced, incorporating recommendation systems as a customization mechanism, and implementing web accessibility guidelines in its interface to ensure information access for all individuals.
