摘要
Metals are elements that exist naturally in the system. Heavy metals have a higher relative atomic mass and have a density no less than five times that of water. The dosage, manner of exposure, chemical species, as well as the age, gender, genetic makeup, and nutritional status of those exposed, all have a part in determining their toxicity. Arsenic, chromium, cadmium, mercury, and lead are among the most prominent metals of health concern to the public due to their severe toxicity. These gold-bearing portions are regarded to be broad toxins that can affect many organs even at modest doses. They are considered carcinogenic in humans. The enormous health dangers posed to humans by ingesting heavy metals, primarily through drinking water.
