摘要
Within any typical health organization, nurses play a vital role in the quality of care and health promotion. Generally, the nursing workload is determined by the time spent on patient care and nursing activities. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ICU nurses might experience much higher physical, psychological, and emotional exhaustion. Hence, this study is focused on analyzing the ICU nurses' workflow and measuring the sequence of nursing tasks under the same subgroup and the frequency of the tasks. In this study, the ICU nurse's workflow data is collected from the Near Field Electromagnetic Ranging (NFER) System. Moreover, this research revealed significant differences in ICU nurse shift before and during the pandemic. Plus, this study provides the understanding and the tool to cope with the pandemic consequences and optimize nurse's work routines.
