摘要
In regions frequently affected by typhoons, offshore wind turbines are exposed to extreme weather conditions that significantly impact their dynamic performance. This study explores the effects of super typhoon Saola on the drivetrain dynamics of a floating offshore wind turbine mounted on an OC4-DeepCwind semisubmersible platform. Using actual typhoon data, we developed a stepwise coupled simulation model to analyze turbinetyphoon interactions, specifically examining how the turbine shaft, gearbox, and generator respond to the extreme conditions. While previous research has extensively covered aspects such as structural dynamics, aerodynamic loading, and control strategies, there remains a notable gap in understanding the internal dynamics of drivetrains during typhoon conditions. By addressing this gap, our study provides critical insights for designing typhoon-resistant offshore wind turbines, enhancing their safety and operational reliability.
