摘要
With the increasing demand for power levels in medium and low voltage applications such as ships and warships, wind power generation systems. The multiphase generators are receiving the increasing attention. Compared to traditional generator, multiphase generators have the characteristics of low voltage or current requirements, high fault tolerance, and low torque requirements. This article designs a 4500kW high-power dual three-phase electric excitation synchronous generator. Firstly, a preliminary design of the high-power dual three-phase generator is carried out based on the design specifications of the motor. Then, the electromagnetic performance of the dual three-phase generator and the traditional three-phase generator is compared by traditional finite element simulation, including magnetic field distribution, no-load inducted voltage and electromagnetic torque. In addition, the paper also verifies that the multi-phase generator has the characteristics of reducing torque ripple through the analysis of simulation comparison.
