摘要
Photocatalytic degradation is an eco-friendly method that is used to solve problems related to environmental pollution. In this review paper, there is a significant role for polymers, and metal oxide incorporated into polymers allowing for the production of innovative materials that have improved characteristics and may be used for a variety of purposes. This in-depth examination will focus mostly on the design and uses of CA@metal oxide nanocomposites (NCs), since these are the study's primary objectives. Following this, an explanation is provided of the many strategies that modifiers use to modify the surface of this metal oxide to enhance good dispersion in the matrixes. Consequently, effective recovery and reuse of the composite catalyst for more than four runs with efficiency >90 % becomes obtainable. These appreciable advantages offer fabricated nano composite polymericbased catalysts an effective outlook of use in the remediation of toxic dyes as compared to the bio-catalyst and pure nano adsorbent materials.
